Creamy Lemon Calendula Hot Process Soap (10-Minute Hot Process Soap)

Learn how to make this delicious Creamy Lemon Calendula Hot Process Soap in just 10 minutes!

Spring time is finally here! What better way to celebrate than making this beautiful, bright and fresh Creamy Lemon Calendula soap? We formulated this gentle recipe to provide a softening cleanse, with a full and stable lather. Our oils were infused with handpicked garden calendula flowers and colored with anatto seed and white kaolin clay for a naturally vibrant and fresh yellow color. We added lemon juice to the lye solution to create a natural chelator in order to combat hard water and reduce the risk of oxidation and rancidity. We also included a beautiful and conditioning PCSF (post cook superfat) comprised of coconut oil and mango butter and scented our batch with WSP's Meyer Lemon for a lasting and revitalizing citrus fragrance.
